High-waisted pencil skirts have been seen quite often recently on both Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria. Probably because they accentuate all the right body parts and can make someone look 10lbs skinnier! This long skirt elongates your legs while pinching you at the waist which is the smallest area of your body!

I had to add this outfit from Heidi Klum because I thought she added a unique spin to the usual blouse tucked into a high-waisted skirt. Her skirt is still the slimming shape of a pencil skirt except it opens in the front. Even though the rest of her appearance isn't as "Posh" as the other ladies, I liked her interpretation of the same look!
